Other sizes can be ordered to suit your requirements, please ask. Please note it is easy to make boxes of a different, shorter, length from these by pruning the long side wall. You are of course left with a "too long" lid but at least you have only one flange to fold to alter that, after cutting the lid down. If fact, reforming the lid flange is not actually necessary and the cropped lid can be secured with a couple of dabs of solder.....not as pretty though....I am sure our German friends would not approve !

The remnants of my 3.5GHz "sweepings"
3.5 GHz power amplifier pcbs. These are high
quaity material, maybe alumina, one board has "Er =
10.5" printed on it
The three form a chain running from about 50-100mW input to 15
watts output. Unfortunately I do not have the FETs used in them,
nor do I know what type of FET was intended though I believe it
was a Fujitsu type. A set of 3 pcbs contains eleven
100pF APC capacitors, and several other possibly useful
components such as a 14dB and a 6 dB pi pad, and a surface mount
power decoupler. One pcb has a 30dB stripline coupler and coupled
line termination, plus output pad, which may easily be scored and
cracked off the main pcb to make a power or SWR indicator. The
14dB pad on the output of this can be removed and replaced by a
6.5dB from one of the other pcbs to increase the sensitivity. The
output pcb has a number of SMDs including 7662 negative bias
generator and 79L05 in SO-8 packages. I have a reasonable
quantity of these and they are sold as "scavenger
fodder" (see Sept 2007 "Scatterpoint" for removal
ideas(!)) at 3 pcbs for £1.00 Pictured at http://www.alan.melia.btinternet.co.uk/pix/PApcbs.jpg
The Precision Detector pcb populated and full working details at http://www.alan.melia.btinternet.co.uk/Pdetpcb.htm This is a temperature compensated diode detector intended for use between about 1 and 4GHz. It can be used at lower frequencies by modifying the input choke from a meander line to a wound component. If used with the strip-line coupler in one of the amplifier pcbs you can have a 3.5GHz power meter (its original purpose) The operational amplifer will drive a m/c meter and provides gain and offset adjustments.I have been advised that this is usable at 5GHz but have not tried it there myself. (meander line left as is, not shortened) The fully populated, ready to go, pcb and 3 pages of information .........................................at £5.00
Coax adapters.(new) These are not of the
highest quality but are adequate for most purposes, I suspect the

interconnecting leads, There are used but visibly in good
condition though there may be
a little surface rust on some of the fixing screws. They are

they are not electrically tested !!

Hameg HM806 80MHz Oscilloscope with delayed timebase.
This instrument works well and for those not in the know, the
firm is
owned by Rohde and Schwarz, which is an indication of the quality
of the design. The packaging is rather more flimsy than the usual
professional grade instruments, but this does not detract from
the performance of the unit. Despite the 80MHz bandwidth it will
synch
firmly on a 0dbm signal at 150MHz from my signal generator and
display a stationary sinewave (the attenuator is not accurate
here, of
course). There is a printed copy manual with this unit. Full
specification can be foundon www.hameg.de....
Reason for sale ......I now have a HM1005 100MHz with a more
sophisicated delayed timebase.........................£90.00
